So I’m in some hipster thrift store. Jeff is trying on small clothes. Tshirts (used tshirts) are like 12 dollars. Crazy.

Stars
For some reason today I remembered when I was a teenager my friends and I used to go out to fort pike at night. It is an old military fort turned museum. It happened to have a boat launch in the parking lot. We would sit on the pathatic excuse of a pier and either get high or just sit there sober watching the stars. Sometimes we’d stop at this little Chinese food place in the strip mall and get greesy fried rice. We’d bring blankets and sit on the dirty pier in the cold and eat with plastic forks. I think other teenagers went to parties but we were so deep and poetic with our fake silverware and shitty pot. Oh teenage angst…
It makes me laugh. Now I eat vegetarian manwich on whole wheat buns on the couch with my dogs and husband while watching ugly betty…
I do miss the shooting stars.

No blogging at work
So I have two finals this weekend. I’m not sure why I thought taking 2 accounting classes at the same time online was a good idea. I’m much too lazy for online courses…
In other new David sedaris’s new book “when you are engulfed in flames” is pretty good. I’m actually listening to it. The only way to really appreciate his work is to listen to him read it. There’s just something about the way sedaris says the word turd.
